DreamTeam Users can now link documents to tasks on the Index

 

Users now have the ability to easily link documents to tasks directly from the Index

 

Users now have the ability to easily link documents to tasks directly from the Index. 

 

 

To accomplish this simply follow the steps below:

 

1. First you must add a custom URL field to the DreamTeam Task custom object.

 

 

2. Once you have added the custom URL field, open up DreamTeam and right click on one of the column labels and choose the Select Columns option.

 

 

3. Next, the Select Columns dialog box will appear.  Select the URL Field from the Available Task fields and click the green arrow to move it over to the Selected Task fields box and then click OK and the field will be added as a column on the Index.

 

  

 

 

 

4. Next, go to the Document Manager and create a shared link to a document or to a folder and copy the link to the clipboard.

 

 

5. Then go back to the Project and paste the copied shared link into the URL column that you added to the Index.

 

 

6. To launch the link simply hold the control key down and click on the link.
