DreamTeam Suite Release History (2011 - present)

DreamTeam Suite Feature Release History

2012 - March 23

In the latest release we have made several user interface changes to our DreamTeam application to streamline the user interface and enhance usability.  The changes are detailed below. (NOTE:  All changes are backwards compatible with existing projects)

1)   The Task Properties Dialog Box has some changes to make it easier for new users to schedule tasks:

                                                                                                                  (Fig. 1)

The New Task dialog box has 3 new buttons to select if the task is a Summary Task, Sub-Task, or a Milestone task (see fig. 1). This simplifies the process of defining the task type.

(Fig. 2)

The menu on task properties formerly named Dependent is now named Fixed (see fig. 2).  Additionally, the items in that menu have been renamed to more accurately reflect their functionality.  For reference,  listed below are the former menu item names and what they will map to in the new release of DreamTeam.

Additionally you will find a sentence below the Fixed menu area that gives a description of how each menu selection controls task scheduling.  This sentence will change dynamically based on the current menu selection (see fig. 2).

2)  When creating a New Project from the Projects Menu Tab, the edit button to select vacation and work days has been changed to a more consistent edit icon. Below is a screenshot of the Updated Dialog Box with the new icon to edit vacation/work days.

3)    The Project Properties Dialog box has changed the location of the Notification icon (Paper Airplane). It is no longer located in the upper right hand corner. The new location of the notification button is located beside the Discussion button on the bottom left-hand corner. This allows the notification functionality to be more visible to the user.

4)    We have enhanced the Account Link functionality in the Project properties dialog box to allow the user to customize the account fields shown in the search dialog.  This makes it easy to identify a specific account by any field criteria.  The screenshot below shows the new Edit Fields button on the Select Account dialog:

Displayed below is the Select Fields dialog that allows the user to select the fields they would like to display.

(Note: You can select up to 10 fields to be displayed for each record.)

5)    The Project Discussion Dialog Box has changed the placement of the (Paper Airplane) Notification Button to the Lower Left hand corner of the dialog box. An illustration of new location is displayed below:

6)   The Mass Update dialog box (Task Properties: Multi- Task Update) has changed the Dependent menu to the new nomenclature (Fixed) and the menu items have changed as described in item 1 of this document:

7)   The Notification Dialog box has added a new cancel button to make it clear to the user how to cancel a notification.  An illustration is displayed below.
